Large Automoted Proving System
This prover is equipped with an automated table and clamping mechanism which assists the operator in positioning the meter prior to the test. This in turn increases productivity as the operator does not have to take the time to connect an external hose, pressure fittings, temperature fittings as well as the time consuming process of connecting an external flange with bolts and washers. The operator places the meter on the table, raises the table via a table adjustment lever and aligns the pneumatic clamping mechanism to the meter. Once the meter is in position, the operator starts the test via interaction with a touch screen LCD monitor.
All calibration and setup data is stored on the prover’s computer for easy backup and data recovery. Operations are menu driven with a series of graphical screens that guide the operator step by step through the complete test. The software is installed on PC operating under Microsoft Windows®. A 24-bit A/D converter, capable of 1 part in 16777216 resolution is used in the pressure and temperature circuits. The software can be customized with the customer’s data format when communicating test data with the main server computer. This prover also features a Vacuum Leak Test and High Differential Alarm.
